progressive cyberdadaism from our nation’s capital
Holy moly you gotta see Obamania first hand to believe it. When Obama says “Unlike some residents of the White House, I actually believe in the Constitution,” it might as well be Springsteen playing the opening chords of Born to Run. That’s how the crowd rocks to the groove of his stump speech.
There is something about him, particularly seeing him live, that makes you just a bit less cynical.
Your moment of Obamania here.

I guess I have to see him in person. He didn’t impress me at the DNC convention. He hasn’t impressed me since. He reminds me of someone who would tell me to calm down and ask what I’m so worked up about.

From your post:
That’s not right. I mean, what he’s saying is that the concerns of a large number of people aren’t legitimate, and they should just shut up.
Still, he’s got the Obamania on his side.
I’ve got some thoughts, related to a breakout session I was just saw. More soon.

I get the Obamania, totally. I loved his DNC speech. It was exactly what I’d been say, much less eloquently, for years.
Plus my daughter loves him.
