How many Bushies does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

by @ 2:26 pm. Filed under Uncategorized

Two. One to screw in the lightbulb, and a second to call a US Attorney to stifle the investigation.

Why did the Bushie cross the road?

Because he knew someone in the AG office would cover up for him.

That’s what I thought of when I read these graphs from Michael Barone:

Domenici would not have made that call had either a Democrat or a law-abiding Republican been in the White House. He would not have had the temerity to throw his weight around to such an outrageous extent.

What’s going on in Washington is not sufficiently removed from the routine doings of a tawdry Third World dictatorship to give any American comfort.

  1. Media Concepts Says:

The link is to a column by Bonnie Erbe called “To the Contrary.” While I think the statement is correct, I didn’t notice any mention of Michael Barone. He is a hard-core
core Republican, and it would be truly shocking if he wrote the words above.

There’s been a bit of a mixup, apparently. Barone got hacked, and I regretfully fell for it. That I wasn’t the only one, should make me feel better, but doesn’t.
