progressive cyberdadaism from our nation’s capital
WASHINGTON — Iran is supporting both Sunni and Shiite terrorists in the Iraqi civil war, according to secret Iranian documents captured by Americans in Iraq.
The news that American forces had captured Iranians in Iraq was widely reported last month, but less well known is that the Iranians were carrying documents that offered Americans insight into Iranian activities in Iraq.
Wow! Secret documents! If they’ve got secret documents, that means the story has to be true. It’s probably a coincidence that neocons in the administration have been looking for an excuse to bomb Iran for years. Iran, well-known for having lax security, particularly with regards for a war by proxy with the US, probably forgot that they gave their troops classified documents linking them to the Iraq war before telling them to go fight in a situtation where they could be captured or killed. It never occurred to them that if the word got out, they’d have some ’splaining to do.
What’s particularly worrisome about “classified leaks” like this, is that this justifies including Iran as part of the Iraq conflict. Bush wouldn’t even need to justify his actions to Congress.

“secret Iranian documents captured by Americans in Iraq”
So how come they can capture secret Iranian documents but they can’t capture Osama bin Laden?

Because Bin Laden isn’t in the place where all the secrets are kept.
