progressive cyberdadaism from our nation’s capital
Last Sunday I had four threads going in my head.
There was the YouTube thing, and why you shouldn’t like them, including some interesting commentary by the San Francisco Gate and Mark Cuban. Second, the effect that the Drudge Report has on political discourse. Third, Keith Olbermann, as the Howard Beale of 2006. Fourth, 17th street as an under-reported place to go in DC. And, five, make that five threads going on in my head: free wifi spots that you don’t know about, and why you should worship them.
Meanwhile, during the pursuit of thread number 4, I hit an enormous pothole while riding my bike, and stressed a muscle in my upper back. This morning I couldn’t move my left arm without swearing, which is often considered a bad sign, but after a strict regimen of reading Bob Woodward’s latest in my leather chair, I’m doing pretty good.
I know that typing with your hand right is a standard joke. I’d argue that typing with your right hand is a virtue, if you have to deal with DC’s potholes.
Also, I had a lucid insight into why the left needs to get better at producing video pieces. And how, Pajama Media, despite its mediocrity, will set the tone for mainstream media if they don’t.
Unfortunately, I’m laid up right now, and can’t really comment.
