progressive cyberdadaism from our nation’s capital
Okay, so I’m not actually at Yearly Kos, but I’m getting this from an extremely reliable hairpiece, I mean source.
What I hear is that some lefty blogger was in some kind of a snit at a workshop and got all unhinged on the trainer.
Here’s the actual dialogue (edited to convey my viewpoint more clearly):
Lefty Blogger: Listen people! I know everything about healthcare. You could learn something from me when I say that chronic freeloaders shouldn’t have to pay for health insurance.
Trainer: I see. You want to socialize medicine.
Lefty Blogger: F— yeah!
Trainer: But, doesn’t that put us on the slippery slope to Socialism?
Lefty Blogger: I embrace Socialism. I embrace all Socialists. Eugene Debs, Chairman Mao, Jane Fonda, Joseph Stalin, Michael Moore, OJ Simpson– I embrace them all. Man, it’s like time we came out of the closet. The Democratic party has a secret agenda to overthrow the business community. People of America, arise! You have nothing to lose but your day jobs!
And then somebody put on a Grateful Dead album and they all got stoned.
Yep, that’s exactly how it happened.

Yeah, might have to do the YearlyKos thing next year.
Some decent coverage on C-Span.
Maybe they’ll hold it in this neck of the woods next year.
